Out-of-Pocket Rates Available

In many cases—especially when legal issues such as a DWI are involved—it may not be advisable to use health insurance for assessments, though we do accept most major insurance plans. These situations are typically legal in nature, not medical, and billing insurance usually requires a formal diagnosis of a substance use disorder. However, not everyone undergoing an assessment actually meets the criteria for such a diagnosis.

It’s also worth noting that many treatment centers that accept insurance for legal assessments may recommend services that aren't always necessary. We often hear from individuals who ended up in treatment programs they didn't truly need.

At our practice, we offer objective, unbiased evaluations and will always provide you with clear, personalized options based on your unique situation. While treatment is appropriate in some cases, we also offer innovative alternatives when they are suitable.

Paying our affordable fee out of pocket allows us to work more flexibly and get you the help you need—faster. Importantly, just because you choose to pay out of pocket doesn’t mean treatment will automatically be recommended. Our priority is providing honest guidance—not pushing unnecessary services.
