Jess Koep at Hybrid Counseling

Jess is a licensed independent clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health and addictions field. She has worked extensively with adults navigating co-occurring disorders, trauma, mood disorders, and self-esteem concerns, and has provided care across multiple levels of treatment including both residential and outpatient settings.

Most recently, Jess served as Clinical Director of a women’s MI/CD substance use disorder program, where she supervised clinical teams, developed programming, and created a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee to foster a more inclusive environment for staff and clients. This leadership experience has shaped her holistic perspective and deepened her expertise in complex recovery journeys.

Clinically, Jess’s work is grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT), which emphasizes the healing power of authentic relationships and mutual connection. She integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based practices, and is also trained in Brainspotting to support trauma processing at a deeper level. Through Brainspotting, Jess helps clients access and resolve unprocessed trauma in ways that foster emotional regulation, resilience, and lasting change.

At Hybrid Counseling, Jess is passionate about helping adults reconnect with their strengths, heal from past wounds, and cultivate meaningful, connected lives.
