People are pretty resilient I have come to find, and yet, we are also complex. Sometimes our lives can become overwhelming and challenging. We might encounter events that are out of our control, perhaps our relationships are rocky, or we are at some point in our lives where change is disruptive and hard to maneuver. Suddenly, we find ourselves needing support and want to explore what therapy might have to offer.

In seeking a mental health provider, you will find there are many options and interventions to consider. I find it really helpful to create a solid therapeutic connection where this allows fort he individual to feel that they are truly validated in their experiences and what they would like to get out of therapy. Some of the interventions I am trained in include: EMDR (Eye Movement DesensitizationReprocessing), Brain spotting, sand tray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, internal family systems, strengths-based approach, and motivational interviewing. I am competent and compassionate in working with individuals with complex trauma, stressors, life/developmental change, co-occurring disorders, and chemical dependency. I am also an ally and enjoy working with GLBTQIA2+ as well as BIPOC.I am open to seeing individuals ages 12 and older.

I have a dual license in the state of Minnesota. I am a LICSW (licensed independent clinical social worker) and LADC (licensed alcohol drug counselor). The years of working in the field have been a joy for me, as I continue to encounter a variety of people whom each has a voice and a story to share. I strive to offer encouragement, transparency, support, and compassion in my professional role.

In my private life, I spend my time being involved in something creative, being outdoors, or spending time with my family and friends.
