Faith is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Minnesota and obtained a Masters degree in counseling with a focus on co-occurring disorders from Adler Graduate School in September 2022. She is currently under supervision to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Faith has been working in the mental health and chemical dependency field for the last 4 years in various roles. She has worked with several different populations including adolescents, adults, and families. Faith has worked in several different settings including residential and outpatient dual diagnosis treatments. Faith believes in a client-centered approach, focusing on meeting the client where they are at and helping them to understand their mental health and/or chemical health. Faith helps clients to become aware of their core beliefs about self, their environment, interpersonal relationships and more. Faith guides clients in exploration of how these beliefs impact them on a day-to-day basis. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) concepts, Faith helps guide clients in restructuring their thoughts to improve their self-concept and strengthen emotion regulation and distress tolerance to improve overall mood.
