Nicole works with clients from a strengths-based, client-centered approach utilizing each individual’s assets to guide clients where they want to be. She is a firm believer that there is hope that can be found in any situation and it is her goals to help her clients find that hope. Nicole approaches every client with unconditional positive regard, realizing we all need empathy and acceptance to be able to become the best version of ourselves we can be.
Nicole has over 6 years’ experience in the field of addiction and mental health, working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. She is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and is working towards her Doctorate in Behavioral Health. She has experience with individual therapy as well as couples and families. Nicole has experience treating a variety of issues that clients may be facing including addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, relationship and family issues, and more. Nicole is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence based therapeutic intervention to treat trauma and a variety of other issues.
